The other early mod I had done on my Losmandy G11 was replacing most of the inconvenient  socket cap screws which force us to have an allen key handy for the setup, alignment and obviously packing up… I somewhat liked the indexing handles that Losmandy provides to attach Gemini 2 Control Unit on the pier. I chose a similar design but slightly bigger and with a nice light orange tint.

I found the same type of handles for the HD tripod as you can see in the picture on the left.
